Destination Covered : Colombo - Dambulla or Sigiriya-Kandy -Colombo Day 1 : Arrival at Colombo airport - Dambulla (128 km) or Habarana (154 km)

After arriving at the Colombo Airport, meet our representative who helps you with an assisted transfer to Dambulla / Habarana. Once you arrive at your destination, complete the check-in formalities at your pre-booked hotel. Later, in the afternoon, visit Dambulla cave temple or Golden Temple of Dambulla- a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The rest of the day is at leisure, you can spend it as per your own liking. Interact with the individuals, taste the local renditions and more. Overnight stay in Dambulla / Habarana.

Day 2 : Excursion to Sigiriya / Ritigala

After breakfast on day 2, leave your hotel room for a day's excursion to Sigiriya or Ritigala. The ancient palace of Sigiriya, a UNESCO World Heritage Site was built by King Kasyapa (477 – 495 CE). One of country's best preserved ancient urban planning, it was a Buddhist monastery during the 14th century. The next site is the nature reserve of Ritigala, consisting of ruins of a cave temple and a monastery. Back to Dambulla / Habarana for an overnight stay.


Day 3: Dambulla/Habarana – Matale - Kandy (110 km -2.5 hrs approx)

On day 3, post breakfast, hit the road to Kandy. On the way, partake in a spice tour at one of the spice garden's of Matale. Treat your eyes to the verdant greenery spread all around you, while taking-in the aroma of the tea leaves. Continue for Kandy an important city of Sri Lanka. On arrival, check in at your hotel. In the evening, visit the Tooth of the temple or Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic to view an enchanting cultural performance. This World Heritage Site consists of relic of Lord Buddhism's tooth. Overnight stay.

Day 4: Kandy - Colombo (114 km- 2. 5 hrs approx)

After relishing breakfast at your hotel, get an assisted transfer to the capital city of Sri Lanka, Colombo. Upon reaching Colombo, complete the check-in formalities at your pre-booked hotel. After settling in your room, have your lunch at a city restaurant. This is followed by sightseeing/ a shopping spree in the city. In the night, if you want, you can enjoy the nightlife of Colombo, by visiting any of the popular casinos of the city. Stay overnight in Colombo.

Day 5: Departure

On the last day of the tour, after breakfast, get an assisted transfer to the airport to board a flight for your onward destination.

Day 2 :

After breakfast tour the city of Kandy - the last capital of the Sri Lankan kings. The name Kandy conjures visions of a storied past, splendour, legend, folklore, mystery and traditions lovingly kept alive for countless years. Visit a Gem museum and a lapidary. Also, visit the botanical gardens in Peradeniya, which was originally the pleasure gardens of the royalty. Nearly 4000 species of plants are found in this garden and it is encircled by the Mahaweli river. Overnight stay at your hotel in, Kandy.

Day 3:

After breakfast proceed to Nuwara Eliya, enroute visiting a tea plantation and a factory. Nuwara Eliya is also the heart of Sri Lanka's tea country producing 50% of the world's best tea. Sri Lanka's highest mountain Pidurutalagala (8282 ft) is located here. Nuwara Eliya is the location for one of the finest 18 hole golf courses in Asia. Check in at your hotel. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay at your hotel in, Nuwara Eliya.

Day 4:

After breakfast visit Sita Eliya and thereafter proceed to Hambantota / Kataragama. Enroute do a Safari of the Yala National park by Jeep. Yala is the largest national park in Sri Lanka and is the home of wild elephants, wild boar, wild buffalo, leopard, bear, deer and crocodiles. you can also see large flocks of migratory and indigenous birds. Overnight stay at your hotel in Hambantota / Kataragama.


Day 5:

After breakfast proceed to Galle and do a city tour of Galle, one time chief port of Ceylon. Galle is famous for handmade lace, tortoise shell curios and ebony elephants. Also, visit the 90 acre Galle fort, which was originally founded by the Portuguese and later extended by the Dutch in 1663. The fort houses many important Dutch buildings including a Dutch period museum. Thereafter proceed to Bentota. Enroute turtle hatchery operated by the wild life protection society of sri lanka. several species of turtle, especially the hawksbill, are endangered; most vulnerable of all are their eggs; which are left uncovered on beaches all around the coast. the goodwill of kosgoda area fishermen, who bring these eggs gratis to the hatchery, has led to the hatching and release of 100,000 young turtles in only two years since the hatchery opened. Check in at your hotel in Bentota for overnight stay.

Day 6:

Breakfast at hotel. Morning at leisure on the beach. In the evening proceed to Colombo and check in at your hotel. In the evening do a city / shopping tour observing the old parliament, the residential areas and the BMICH (Bandaranaike memorial international conference hall) and visit fort. Also, visit the ceramics corporation showroom, majestic city shopping complex, house of fashion and the ODEL unlimited dress boutique. Overnight stay at your hotel in Colombo.

Day 7:

After breakfast proceed to the airport for departure.
